Recommended to this place by a friend of ours who live in Milan, turned out to be the best dinner we had in the city. This small Pugliese restaurant has everything a perfect restaurant has to offer, amazing food, great non pretentious atmosphere, great wine and friendly staff and owner. We had both grilled seafood, Melanzane, Scallopini di Porcini—and they were to die for. The fava beans and spinach side was unexpectedly delicious—and arguably the star of the meal. I almost don’t want to give them this good review because im afraid i will ruin this gem with crowd! But definitely going to back whenever we’re in Milan!

Based on the previous night's food quality and service, we decided to return to Pizzeria Trattoria Da Franco again tonight. Our son had baby octopus for the first time which provided laughter at our table (he ate them all). Our server, Rey, was amazing and if you are in Milan, it's a MUST. 5 Stars.

During my time in Italy, my family and I traveled to several cities to include Rome, Florence, Venice, and Milan. Out of every restaurant we went to, this was the best one by a mile not only because of the food but because of the service and how friendly the staff were to us. We got pictures with the waiter and head chef and will be recommending this place to everyone who travels to Milan. We will come back!

It was the best food-experience I’ve had in Milan! The restaurant offered a cozy and authentic atmosphere, with an amazing waiter, Rey handled the customers and myself with the utmost attention and professionalism, focusing on each customer’s individual need constantly. The food is like magic, it melts in your mouth and warm up your soul. The kitchen staff is extremely friendly, helpful and very very kind. If you are in Milano, you MUST visit this restaurant!!!

I had a wonderful experience at this Trattoria! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect place to enjoy a great meal. The food exceeded my expectations—everything was absolutely delicious. I had the pasta with funghi, and it was the best I’ve ever had. The pizza was also excellent—perfectly baked and full of flavor. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Lovely traditional Italian food. Very friendly staff who were very helpful. Particularly because we spoke very little Italian and they helped us navigate the menu. Excellent value for money.
